In spring of 2017, we began our 20/20 Campaign to raise funds to help sponsor 20 scholarships to 20 nontraditional students. We are very grateful for the many donations and because of the support of ANTSHE members, sponsors, and anonymous donors, ANTSHE was able to raise the funds needed to sponsor 20 nontraditional student scholarships! These scholarships were presented throughout the three day conference with some of the nontraditional students in attendance. Thank you to the many supporters of the ANTSHE 20/20 Campaign! Because of your support, 20 nontraditional students will be able to have the financial support needed to help them succeed in reaching their educational goals for 2017-2018.

This years theme focused on "Addressing the Identity Crisis: Realizing the Value in Non-Traditional Learners in Adult Programs and Initiatives...Mentoring and Mapping Their Needs for 21st Century Success"

The presentations, keynotes, and poster sessions highlighted key areas of higher education that need to be improved on to further aide in nontraditional student success. Many of the presentations focused on innovative techniques and ideas to help the nontraditional student succeed and to help the supporters, administrators, faculty, and advisors to be able to focus programs that support nontraditional students. The sessions were engaging, we had intense networking opportunities, a nontraditional student panel, and some of the best keynote speakers yet! It was a celebration of nontraditional students as well and the special events included the Atlanta Jazz Trio, a performance by Lucy (Lucille Ball-Melody Knighton), and even Elvis (Matthew Spalding) performed. It was a lot of fun and a great learning experience. Those in attendance were able to experience the collaboration of leaders of adult learner programs and organizations whose focus is adult learner success, and get exposure to innovative ideas and leadership to help their adult learner program be successful.
